I’m sure you have heard of the benefits of green tea for weight loss.

If you ever take a look at any fat burning suppliamnets green tea is probably found in them.

Now, that said I am in no way promoting those get thin quick fat burners or tea detox diets.

How to boost metabolism and burn fat with the benefits of green tea for weight loss

I do not believe any of those, I believe in a natural clean wholesome diet and exercise plan for long term goals.

Afterall losing weight for long term success will not happen overnight.

Your goal to lose weight healthy is slow and steady.

Today, I am going to show you how you can incoproate green tea for weight loss.

Green tea is loaded with antioxidants and great nutrients.

It is said to be one of the healthiest drinks you can consume.

With almost no calories, low side effects and less caffine than coffee you may want to think about how green tea can benefit you in your weight loss journey.

So lets get into it…

What are the benefits of green tea for weight loss?


1 – Boosts Metabolism

Studies have shown by having green tea will increase your metabolism naturally by 5%.

Green tea contains antixidents called catechin polyphenols which have been found to speed up your metabolism.

I have found that green tea helps especially in a weight loss plateau.

It can help to jump start or revamp your metabolism and get it going again.

2 – Helps You Lose Belly Fat

Losing belly fat can be the most challenging to lose for woman.

Especially after babies.

Now you can not spot reduce fat however you can use green tea to lose more fat quicker.

Just as the catechin found in green tea will speed up your metabolism it will also increase the release of fat from fat cells. Especially those in the belly.

Some studies show that having green tea instead of coffee will decrease belly fat aka visceral fat.

Just anther reason green tea for weight loss is perfect!

That said no one is created equal.

So why not swap out your morning coffee for a cup of green tea. Try it for a couple of weeks and see how your body reacts to the change

Especially during exercise .

There are so many studies that suggest when you start to introduce green tea into your diet you can burn up to 17% more fat.

If you seem to bloat easy green tea might be your ticket.

Keep in mind though green tea does contain caffene. If you are senstive to caffiene make sure you are not drinking this before bed.

This drink packs a powerful punch of amazing nutrients and antioxidents to live a healthier lifestyle.

Keep in mind just because green tea can help with losing weight you have to be aware of what you are adding into it.

Try not to add sugar. Sugar will do nothing for your weight loss efforts.

If you are not a fan of plain green tea find one with extra flavoring or add your own.

My favorite green tea for weight loss is the Bigelow brand. You can find this at almost every grocery store.
