But keep in mind adding cinnamon to your diet alone is not going to help you lose tons of weight.

In order to lose weight the healthy way good old exercise, eating clean and a calorie deficit must take place.

By adding cinnamon to your everyday foods it can have a small effect on your weight loss and help you live a healthier lifestyle.

Cinnamon can be added to almost any food to enhance the sweet flavor and this will help cut back on the sugar.

Foods to add cinnamon to for weight loss:

  • Oatmeal – Jazz up old fashioned plain oatmeal with cinnamon
  • Coffee – If you add sugar to your coffee swap it out for cinnamon instead
  • Roasted Nuts – Sprinkle a dash of cinnamon on roasted nuts for a sweet flavor
  • Cereal – Give your plain cereal some extra flavor
  • Sweet Potato – Roast up some sweet potatoes and add a dash of cinnamon for lunch
