In more recent years it has been shown to provide amazing health benefits as well.

It has been studies that apple cider vinegar can work wonders for type 2 diabetics and for those who want to keep their blood sugar in check.

That is important when it comes to every day health and weight loss.

When it comes to losing weight your blood sugar spikes could cause you to eat more.

Starches found in food like breads and pasta will cause your blood sugar to spike so you will feel more hungry and in turn eat more.

The acetic acid in apple cider vinegar will help your body not to digest starches.

Now that does not mean have an entire bowl of pasta after you take some apple cider vinegar.

There are so many ways to take apple cider vinegar.

  • Make sure you are using natural raw apple cider vinegar.
  • Start with a tablespoon into an 8 oz glass of water.
  • Make sure you are mixing it with water! Do not consume this straight up.
  • Due to it’s highly acidic properties it can burn your throat and cause tooth enamel to erode.
  • I find it better to drink it with a straw too.
  • Keep in mind you should not exceed 2 tablespoons a day!

Many consume this first thing in the morning however keep in mind on an empty stomach this might not be the best idea for you.

The acid may upset your stomach so I find it best to take it before a meal.
